SeaLabs is a global marine data collection project run by the Spanish NGO Ambiente Europeo, empowering sailors to contribute to ocean research using easy-to-use sensors. These sensors allow crews to measure key ocean parameters during their voyages, feeding valuable data into an open-source platform accessible to scientists worldwide.
ICTAC is proud to support this important initiative by providing both physical and virtual meeting spaces for SeaLabs volunteers, donating hosting services, and assisting team leaders with onboarding and digital collaboration tools.
We’re especially pleased to share that our Spain-based Event Manager, Luise Wagner, is contributing her time and expertise on a pro bono basis. She supports B2B development, creates training modules, and facilitates quarterly meetings of the SeaLabs Advisory Board.
Interested in getting involved? SeaLabs is currently seeking industrial partners, volunteers with a background in marine science, and financial supporters to help expand its sensor research and impact. CONTACT
